Redbox - Account not in good standing

For two weeks every time I tried to reserve or rent a movie from redbox I was denied because it said my "account was not in good standing". There was absolutely no reason for this to be.
Several phone calls and "chats" went in circles. I was told things like "sometimes accounts are randomly reviewed and should be back to normal after 72 hours". Well, 720+ hours later the same...I could not get any explanation, no escalation and no way to speak to anyone in authority.
I finally told them to cancel my account altogether. They said it would take 72 hours....
Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Dealing with the same thing..both my wife and myself are in โaccount not in good standingโ *** Okay *** is too harsh...purgatory? Messaged them..they said some other entity would contact me. No movies for me :(
same thing here, ever since coinstar took over redbox, I have had the same problem.
I give up. Going to switch to a nicer company like netflix!
They did that to me fir no reason and hoy couldn't speak to anyone so I set up another acct in my husbands name and different e mail and credit card. All I did was get the run around
