I was VERY disappointed with redbox. They are all about customer service and putting they're customers first but cannot give me a refund for movies I did not rent. POOR customer service! I'll be telling everyone I know to never buy from them or rent from them AGAIN. The 3 ladies I talked to were VERY rude to me and one of them hung up on me. I'll never go to them again!

My husband an I have always been loyal red box customers. That is until the last time I went to return movies and I returned 2out of 3 than the box told me full. By this point a red box employee showed up to empty the Machine. He told me hey just leave the disk with me. I'll put it in when I empty it. BIG MISTAKE!!!! He did not do as he said and now I'm being charged for a movie that I do not have. Call and the lady on the other end did nothing for us. What a joke.

Redbox are theives

Redbox is a thieving ***, lying company that i wish i never ever dealt with! I will NEVER Rent from them again even if it was free for life! Their machines are garbage, they are so neglected and fried! They screwed me twice by taking money out of my account for movies that were so scratched up, it didnt even *** play! So they gave me a "promo" code, i got the movie for my kids and i returned it and these bastards took money out of my account again and wouldn't refund it Because their machine obviously wasn't working so i had to pay for their malfunctioning *** machine mistake .If you had any sense you wouldnt do business with these sneaky gutter rats!

Redbox is garbage. A lot of non English speaking employees that can't understand English. The others just don't care. I've unsubscribed and will not be using Redbox again. I also encourage People of Color not to use Redbox. Why you might ask? Well the new Roots hit the redbox and shall we say RACIST AMERICA LET IT BE KNOWN WHAT THEY FEEL ABOUT SLAVERY. Whom ever ae3799t is should be locked up. Well I called redbox about the issue and the ignorite young lady on the other end WOULDNT ADDRESS THE RACIST COMMENT THAT WAS ALLOWED TO BE PUT ON REDBOX SITE. STL BLACKS NEED TO BOYCOTT REDBOX. YOU *** WILL NOT GET ANOTHER DIME FROM ME.

I have a redbox 10 minute walk form my house or 2 minute drive at a local Walgreens. I have a success rate of maybe 1 in 5 attempts when renting from this location that the scanner actually works. I am so fed up with the time that redbox takes form me that I for one will not ever try and rent form them again. Their Kiosks are trash. Don't waste your time. When like everyone else on this thread has no problems with their cards elsewhere, and they don't work at Redbox Kiosks, it is definitely a Redbox quality issue. Again, the best thing you can do to get them to do something about it is STOP wasting your time by using them. Don't patronize this company!!

Rented a movie. It was cracked in half. Called customer service very poor English. She kept having me repeat what I already told her 3 times. Asked for a manager she hung up on me. Called back and finally got a manager who was even less helpful. It's easier to rent from home on cable. Pay more but at least it works and you don't have to deal with their customer service.

I rented a movie for $1.59 on Monday 8/12. I returned the movie at 4:30 pm on Tuesday 8/13. Yet when I checked my bank account today there is a charge from redbox for $4.77 which adds up to the cost of 3 days. Now I'm wondering, how many other times has this happened?

Redbox charged me $27 for a movie I never rented. The pending charge was never in my account but they said I rented it for 17 days.

After being hung up on by a representative I was finally told that they had compromised my personal information "or something" and that I should speak to my bank. (Their words!) Even their Supervisor was extremely rude on the phone very unprofessional she basically told me that she was sorry they still $27 but they were not going to do anything about it. I don't think I have ever seen a business act so pathetic.

I am so disappointed in the way this situation was handled I will never return to Redbox as a customer. Thank goodness for Netflix

I read a while back about a security breach at Redbox. You might want to do a search for it. In the meantime, contact your card issuer and report the charge as fraudulent and get a new card, number, etc.

Same problem. I Hate the new website layout.

The "in your bag" pre-pay thing is not what I want to do. The old site would have a button to click on that said "find near me" You would then know if it wasn't at a certain location.

Now it has "favorite location" and says that EVERY movie I pick out is at that location. - They aren't.

Redbox charged me for five blu ray rentals and I never received the movies from the box itself. I went home and called but was told it's my banks fault not Redbox's and that was all I was told. It's been over three months and my money has not shown up, I called my bank and they told me Redbox took the funds. So, needless to say I will NEVER rent from Redbox EVER again.

I'm being repeatedly charged for rentals. I have called customer service but the service I received was appalling. According to my bank statement I was charged over $19 for one dvd, two day rental..my math is not up to par but I can calculate that the charge is outrageous. Now if I was lied to about the price of rentals then this would make sense. Due to the over charges and tardy charges my account is messed up. I have to go without certain medications due to the lack of funds in my account thanks solely to REDBOX. This is a terrible display of customer support. "The customer is always right"....I was deceived.

I briefly thought about renting with Redbox, having never touched one before. But when i started to set up an account, i found there was already one in my name. Since my debit card has been hacked 3 times in 2 years, I called to investigate. The foreign girl promised to have all my information removed from their systems, but said she would need my information to do so. 2 hours later, I find that she set up an account for me, despite my repeated requests to be removed from their systems. *** cow. That's what happens when American jobs go to foreigners. Now i have to start monitoring for suspicious charges again, I guess, despite not ever having used their services. Thank God I refused to give her my card number. What a joke this company is.
